Strategem Capital Corp. (“Strategem” or “the Company”) announced today that it has acquired 1,000,000 shares of Pacific Rodera Energy Inc. (“PRD”), through the private placement announced by PRD on March 5, 2007. The shares were acquired for investment purposes and Strategem may buy or sell additional securities from time to time as market conditions warrant.
Pacific Rodera Energy Inc. is a junior oil and gas company currently engaged in the exploration for, and development of, natural gas and light oil reserves primarily in the Province of British Columbia
and in the Northwest Territories. The common shares trade on the Toronto Venture Exchange under the symbol “PRD”.
